What is the Studoo tutor platform?
Studoo is a workspace for UK private tutors and tutoring centres, for one-to-one and group lessons. It covers groups and student invites, lesson plans, classrooms with timetables and registers, homework from a 3,000+ question Maths bank plus English, lesson Replay, an AI Assistant to answer parent queries, mock test management with marks and ranks, and progress you can show parents.
Do I have to change how I teach?
No. Studoo carries your own scheme of work, your own questions and your own timetable. Many tutors start with cohorts and classrooms only, then adopt assignments, mocks and analytics when it suits them.
Which subjects are covered?
Maths practice with 3,000+ questions and English are live now, for one-to-one and group lessons. Further subjects are on the roadmap.
What do the parents of my students see?
Students linked to your cohorts (and their parents) get their own portals showing the course plan week, the session schedule, assignments, mock results and the student’s progress and behavioural insight. Each student and parent only ever sees their own records.
Can other tutors see my students or my questions?
No. Every query is scoped by database row-level security, so your cohorts, students and question bank are isolated from every other tutor on the platform. Questions you author stay in your own or your centre’s bank.
Does Studoo work for a tutoring centre with several tutors?
Yes. The Centre plan includes 3 tutor logins under one organisation, with extra tutors at £20 per month each. Each tutor works in their own account with their own cohorts and classrooms, alongside centre branding, team management and a centre-wide shared question bank.
